Galaxy ups lithium resource

Galaxy ups lithium resource (January 2010, Industrial Minerals)

Australian lithium developer Galaxy Resources Ltd has expanded the contained lithium oxide resource at its Mt Cattlin project by 11% to 172,000 tonnes, the equivalent of about 425,000 tonnes lithium carbonate.

The increased resource estimate is a result of a recent drilling and assaying programme at the lithium-tantalum project, which is located near Ravensthorpe, Western Australia.
